We want you to visit our recreation centers, parks and trails throughout the year and use our website to explore the possibilities before you go to any location. You will find maps to get to each of our recreation centers and many of our parks, as well as current information on programs and activities.

The Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks & Recreation Master Plan is available online for you to view.
Beginning Mon., June 13, FCPR will operate all general purpose recreation centers on summer hours; Mon.-Fri. 8 am-9 pm; Sat. 9 am-5 pm; Sun. 2-5 pm.
As of July 1, 2014, FCPR operates all recreation centers on abbreviated schedules for all city scheduled holidays with the exception of Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving day and Christmas day.
• General purpose recreation centers operate 10 am-6 pm
• The Senior Center and Gilmore Therapeutic Recreation Center operate 8 am-4 pm
• Tokay Senior Fitness Center operates 7 am-3 pm
• Clark Park Nature Center operates 10 am-4 pm
• N.C. Veterans Park operates from 10 am-5 pm
• All parks will be open to the public
Additional July 4, 2016 Hours of Operation:
Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks and Recreation pools are open on July 4 from 8:30 am-6 pm. Cost for public swim is $1 for residents ages 12 and under, $2 for non-residents 12 and under, $2 for residents ages 13+ and $4 for non-residents ages 13+. Pools include Chalmers Pool, located at 1520 Slater Ave., and Westover Aquatic Center, located at 266 Bonanza Drive.
The Splash Pad at J.S. Spivey Recreation Center will be open on July 4 from 10 am-6 pm and is located at 500 Fisher St. Children can enjoy the pad as water sprinkles from a rainbow of colored arches. Onlookers can relax under the shaded tables near the Splash Pad. The Splash Pad is open to all ages and operates from May 14-Sept. 10; Mon.-Sat. from 10 am-6 pm and Sun. from 1-6 pm. Admission is free.
Administrative offices are closed.
All of the aforementioned facilities will be back to normal operating hours Tues., July 5.
