Dispelling the Myths
We have all seen and heard it in the gyms...the fan or coach who constantly yells "3 seconds!", or "over the back!". Those are just two of the most misunderstood rules in basketball. Below you will find links that will help you educate yourself about these myths. Click on the links below, educate yourself, and impress the spectators around you when the games begin!

Registration is October 1 - December 1. Ages 5-6 will attend a Saturday morning instructional program to learn the basics of basketball (dribbling, passing, shooting). Ages 7-17 will participate in league play. Season starts January 12. Birth certificate and 3 proofs of residence are required at the time of registration. To assist with insuring eligibility, a photo id will be taken by staff. Players will not be placed on a team until the photo id is completed. League age is the age attained by a player prior to April 1 of the current playing year. Register at any recreation center.
7-17 yrs; $20.

Summer Basketball (2013)
Registration is April 1-June 1. Season starts July 9. Birth certificate and fee are required at the time of registration. To assist with insuring eligibility, a photo id will be taken by staff. Players will not be placed on a team until the photo id is completed. League age is the age attained by a player prior to Aug. 1 of the current playing year. Register at any recreation center. Summer basketball differs from winter basketball...we do not keep score; won/loss records are not kept, and registration zones are not enforced.
