Football
Football registration is June 1 – August 1 for ages 7–14. Season begins September 19. Register at the center closest to your residence. Birth certificate and fee are required at the time of registration. League age is the age attained by a player prior to December 1 of the current playing year.
Cost is $25.
For the 2009 season, FCPR has the following number of teams and players.
7-8 yr olds: 22 teams and 333 players
9-10 yr olds: 25 teams and 618 players
11-12 yr olds: 20 teams and 500 players;
In partnership with neighboring recreation agencies, the Town of Spring Lake entered 2 teams/43 players in the 9-10 league and 1 team/25 players in the 11-12 league. Fort Bragg entered 1 team/25 players in the 11-12 league.

Punt, Pass, and Kick
The NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass, & Kick program was held on August 27 at Fayetteville State University. Fifty-four (54) young men and women ages 8-15 participated in this free event. Players from UNC-Pembroke and Fayetteville State assisted. Thanks to both great institutions!
