CENTER PROGRAMS

Open Gym-Teens
The gym is open nightly for basketball with the exception of recreation sponsored athletic programs. Participants should bring a school or picture ID.
13-17 yrs; Schedule varies according to availability, call center for current times.

Open Gym-Family Night
The gym is open weeknights for basketball with the exception of recreation sponsored athletic programs. Family night is designed to give families time to play together. An adult must accompany child/children.
12-under yrs; Schedule varies according to availability, call center for current times.

Open Gym-Adults
The gym is open just for adults to play basketball with the exception of recreation sponsored athletic programs. Participants must provide a picture I.D. to participate, no exceptions.

Fitness Room
The fitness room is equipped with treadmills, ellipticals and stationery bikes. Best of all, it's absolutely free! Registration form required at fi rst visit.

Senior Cards
Come out to meet other seniors in the area, socialize, and enjoy some card playing. We will be offering various card games to include spades, pinochle, and much more! We will also be playing tournaments.

Toddler Playtime
Moms and Dads bring your toddler ages 1-4 over to E.E. Miller Recreation Center for some fun and developmentally challenging playtime with other toddlers! Absolutely free with no pre-registration required!

Beginner I Middle Eastern BellyDance
For fi rst time beginners - no experience necessary. Anyone can do this. Have fun and learn to belly dance. Yes, it's great fun and fi tness and for Every Body! All the basics, steps and combinations and veils. Enjoy the music, and meet some other Beginners. Performance not required.

Intermediate/Advanced Middle Eastern Belly Dance
Continue to advance your skills as you learn more complex dances. Showcase your talents in various public performances.

Tang Soo Do Karate
This family-oriented class teaches self-defense, physical fitness, and discipline. Tang Soo Do is an art form that enhances your awareness of being.

Zumba Gold
This Zumba class is designed especially for both beginners as well as advanced students! Zumba is a fun, low impact work-out that achieves great results!

Hula Dance
Hula classes are offered for beginning and advanced students that are interested in learning traditional Hula dances and the ways of the Hawaiian culture. Participants wear traditional regalia and perform at events throughout the year.

ZumbAtomic
Parents, ZumbAtomic is a fun and healthy program designed just for kids using the Zumba concept. Children will learn fi tness dances, participate in fun motivational games, and learn new rhythms and styles of music and culture. Classes are held once a week and are offered in a 6-week session. Classes begin March 2.

Tiny Tumble Bugs
In this 4-week class, children will experience a variety of gross motor activities with their parents. Parents be sure to come dressed to roll around on the mats with your little bug! Classes begin July 6. Pre-registration required by June 28.

Intercession Camps
Camps based around the year-round school schedule that feature games, crafts, sports and more. This program is designed for children who are currently enrolled in kindergarten through age 12. Campers should bring a non-perishable lunch to camp each day. Weeks offered are as follows: March 18-22; March 25-March 28 ($40); April 1-5

Workday Camps
These camps are offered on teacher workdays (from the year-round school calendar). Program is designed for children who are currently enrolled in kindergarten through age 12. Corn Hole League Toss
Bring your own custom boards and bags and join our Corn Hole league. We will be playing outside weather permitting.

Little Kickers Soccer
Bring out your pre-schooler for our beginner soccer league! Registration period runs Jan.-March 2. Games will be played in April. Birth certifi cate required.

Youth Life Skills Series
Come out for a series of classes aimed at supporting the youth in our community through life skills, character development and youth mentoring. Each event will feature a guest speaker and conclude with fun and food! Pre-registrationrequired 1 week prior to event.

Baseball/Softball Clinic
Get prepared for the upcoming spring sports season with our baseball and softball clinic. All levels/experience welcome. Players will be learning fundamentals. Bring a glove, we'll provide the balls and bats. Pre-registration required by March 8.

St. Patrick's Rainbows
Don't worry if there's no rainbow outside, we'll be making our own for St. Patrick's Day! Take it home and look for the pot of gold at the end! Stay after the craft and enjoy some green ice cream! Pre-registration required by March 11.

Itty Bitty Easter Egg Hunt
Bring your toddler or preschooler out for our Easter Egg Hunt that's just their size! We'll have an indoor egg hunt, coloring and crafts, and a bunny toss! Don't forget their Easter baskets! Pre-registration required by March 15.

Thundercats Dodgeball
Everybody loves dodgeball, and we're going to be playing it all night! This program will consist of different dodgeball games such as doctor, bombardment, jail break, and more! Please wear sneakers and bring a snack and water bottle. Pre-registration required by April 5.

Lego Adventures
Do you love legos? We do too! Join us as we use our imagination to have lots of Lego fun! We will even have a contest to see who can build the fastest Lego creation! Pizza and drinks included too. Mother's Day Tea Party

Kids Cooking Green
This is the fi rst of a series of cooking classes offered to kids in order to educate them on not only kitchen basics, but using fresh, local and in-season produce. We will also be learning about organic cooking methods, sustainable farming, and what kids can do to help their community farmers. And the best part of all, we will be making strawberry pie using fresh local strawberries! Pre-registration required by May 31.

Candy Making Mania!
