Open Gym
Enjoy playing basketball? Then come out and play! Youth 7-17 yrs must have a Current permission form on file; must be renewed annually. Open gym is on-going with exception to scheduled recreation center programs/activities.

Little Chefs
The Little Chefs program is designed to help develop and teach children proper cooking skills while encouraging positive eating habits and the importance of healthy foods. Children are encouraged to practice food preparation skills, and learn about different cultural foods of the world. Must be pre-registered one week prior to each Fri.

Gray's Creek District Church Meeting
The Grays Creek Recreation Center will be meeting with the district churches to discuss programming and volunteer options to offer the best opportunties to the citizens of the Grays Creek Community.

Better Health Diabetic Clinic
Better Health of Cumberland County holds weekly Diabetic Screenings, Clinics, Management Plans and other services for diabetics.

Beginner Ballet/Tap
Participants receive an hour of class time with 30 minutes focusing on basic ballet technique and 30 minutes focusing on tap. Students will learn performance pieces during class.

Intermediate Ballet/Tap
Participants receive an hour of class time designed to teach students ballet and tap technique and performance pieces. This class is for students who have had some dance training.

Mommy & Me
Here is a chance for your child to get a jump start on ballet; this class is for moms and their little ones. Thirty minutes of time with your child while they learn the basics of ballet.

Hip Hop
Urban influenced dance done to current and "old school "favorites. A fun style for all ages with a performance piece taught for the recital.

Tae Kwon Do
This class offers academic achievement, self-discipline, and physical fi tness. Sessions begin the fi rst Mon. of each month.

Beginner Guitar Lessons
One-hour course designed to introduce the player to the guitar. Students will become acquainted with basic chords, tablature, scales, notation, and theory. Music from pop, rock, folk, country, and other genres will be explored.

Intermediate Guitar Lessons
Students will continue their musical skill development on the guitar. Chords, progressions, scales, and music of a more difficult magnitude will be explored, encouraging the player to develop into a self-sufficient guitarist.

Piyo (Pilates & Yoga)
Piyo is a mixture of Yoga poses and Pilate's moves, put together to create a great cross training workout with various formats where your body can use its muscles in different ways. It is unique class designed to build strength and gain flexibility.

Les Mills Body Pump
The original weight training class that builds strength, tones your body, burns 560 calories an hour, and pushes you to the limit every time. This sixty minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight room exercises to include squats, presses, lifts, and curls.

Zumba
This program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a one of a kind fi tness program that will blow you away. This class gives your children the opportunity to learn the basics of tumbling, to include rolls, cart wheels, hand springs, and flexibility.

Let's Get Croppin'
This class is perfect for all levels of experience; learn new techniques, use new products and tools and make lasting memories from your photos. This is the perfect opportunity to do a project with your child. Children's workshops are age appropriate and attendees will leave with a completed project to take home. The class will be offering an all day workshop once a month to offer scrapbooking, card making, or other craft projects. Call the recreation center for more information.

Horsing Around
Want to learn about horses? Here is your chance! Come spend the day with us as we travel to the 7 Branch Horse Farm in Lumber Bridge to learn about the basics of horses. During your trip you will learn about the different kinds of horses, how to take care of your horse, how to take care of your horses equipment, the different kinds of horse competitions, leather working, wagon ride, archery, and getting the chance to go on a trail ride with a horse. You may register online directly with the 7 Branch Horse Farm.

Enormous Egg Hunt
Bring out the children to our 7th Annual Enormous Egg Hunt. This year's Egg Hunt will be held at the Gray's Creek Recreation Center. There will be eggs fi lled with goodies hidden all around the center. There are times set aside for the different age groups. Children will need to bring their own basket for collecting eggs. Pre-register by Friday, March 15.

Baseball/Softball Clinic
Kids are you interested in getting better at baseball/softball? Then come join on us on Saturday, March 23 and get fi rst hand instruction from some of our 2013 baseball and softball coaches. All participants will receive a t-shirt.

Gray's Creek 3rd Annual Preseason Little League Tournament
This tournament will be for 9-10 and 11-12 Little League teams. Each team will be scheduled to play in at least two games over the weekend. All games will be officiated by Little League umpires and a concession stand will be open throughout the tournament. Interested coaches should contact the recreation center for more information. Must pre-register by March 25.

4th Annual Gray's Creek Recreation Center Community Yard
Are you trying to clean out your closest and make some space, if so this is a chance to be part of a community wide yard sale? The recreation center will make a space for you to set up and sell your stuff. What's better than making one stop and getting to shop a variety of different booths? We will also provide activities for the kids, while you're selling or shopping. You must Pre-register your booth by Thurs., April 25. We will have this activity outside, but if it rains we will move into the gym.

Spring Variety Show
Parents come out to see what different programs our facility offers as current participants of our programs
perform a wide variety of activities to include ballet/tap, guitar, Tae Kwon Do, Tumbling, Cheerleading, Gray's Creek Girl Scouts, L.E.A.P, and the Gray's Creek Ruritan Club.
