The center houses a gymnasium, large and small program/meeting rooms, a banquet room for up to 250 people and commercial kitchen. In addition, a caterer is available to assist those with special events at the center.

Youth Open Gym
Come and work on your basketball skills and play against others your age. A completed permission form signed by parent/guardian must be on fi le to play basketball. A current ID is required and players must sign in to play.

Family Gym Time
Enjoy some gym time as a family. This time has been designated to give families time together. A completed permission form must be signed by parent/guardian must be on fi le to play basketball. Child/children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Adult Open Gym
Time to get in shape...sweat those pounds off. Players must complete a registration form and provide a picture ID.

Coaches Needed
Baseball, Softball, Football, Soccer, Volleyball, Cheerleading, and Basketball coaches are needed at Kiwanis Recreation Center for the 2013 Sports seasons. For more information or to volunteer, stop by the recreation center anytime.
Preschool
This program is designed for children to grow and learn in an environment that emphasizes academic wellness and supports good behavior. Our students are encouraged to be creative, laugh, and follow directions. Child must be potty trained. This program follows the Cumberland County School calendar.

Mixed Martial Arts Class
This class blends traditional and contemporary martial arts, focusing on a well-rounded set of skills and martial knowledge. The goals of this class include learning selfdefense, physical fitness, and positive self-image.

Modern Masters Art Class
Children will be introduced to the wonderful world of Picasso, Cezanne, Chagall and Matisse. Using famous paintings to understand the artist's styles, children will reproduce their own paintings.

E.M.B.O.D.I
Delta Sigma Theta has created Empowering Males to Build Opportunities for Developing Independence (EMBODI). EMBODI is aimed at young African American males ages 13-17. EMBODI was created out of an urgent sense that "bold action is needed to save our young males from the perils of academic failure, low self-esteem, and crippled futures." Our program will focus on workshops to assist the young men reach their fullest potential educationally, socially, and emotionally. With that in mind, we've designed a program built around the following themes: self-esteem, physical health/wellness, technology, leadership, community service, non-traditional careers and much more!
