Walking Track

Tumbling Toddlers
Your child will burn off extra energy while learning in a fun environment! Basic tumbling techniques will be covered for toddlers and preschoolers to include forward and backward rolls, stretches, jumps, walk-overs and more.

Biddy Sports
Biddy Sports Skills program is a fantastic way for children to become active while building upon the basic elements of a variety of sports and activities. We will review a variety of fundamental movements including: running, hopping, galloping, skipping, jumping, and finding personal space.
Then we will introduce new sport-specific concepts that will help your child feel more comfortable on the court or field.

Little Kickers Fall Soccer Program
Get your pre-school child involved in this beginner soccer program designed for 3 and 4 year olds. Teams will practice and play a short season of non-competitive games. Parents are encouraged to have an active role in this program.

Preschool Picassos

Cre-8-tive Minds
Cre-8-tive Minds believes in providing each child with a variety of experiences and opportunities to learn, create and discover. Our program is socially and emotionally strong which provides children with a healthy feeling of selfesteem and initiative. Discovering Great Artists
Picasso said “Every child is an artist.” Acrylics, watercolors, oil pastels, markers and chalk pastels will all be used to create works of art inspired by famous artists. Simple brushstrokes, color mixing, values, contrasts, highlighting, and shadowing are a few of the lessons that will be covered.

Kid’s Zumba
A fun and energetic Zumba class for kids. Students will have a blast and enjoy this class while learning basic steps to motivating and inspiring international music.

Zumba
This program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a one of a kind fi tness program that will blow you away. Zumba Gold
This is an international fitness class designed for older active adults and beginners of Zumba. It incorporates lower impact aerobics and Latin dance.

Tang Soo Do
Build strength, self-esteem and confi dence in a structured setting while gaining the knowledge to defend yourself with techniques from this traditional martial art. Students will earn belts as they advance in rank.
5-15 yrs; Tues. and Thurs.; Beginners 6-7 pm; Adults/Intermediate/Advanced 7-8 pm; $40/8 classes

Kobudo
This class teaches the use of traditional Okinawan martial arts weapons including the staff, the tunfa, nunte, eku, nunchaku and others. Qualifying students must be at least seven years old and be in the rank of yellow belt or higher. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity!

Uechi Ryu Karate Do
Uechi Ryu (pronounced: “Way Chee Roo”) is an Okinawan style of karate. The basic principle of Uechi Ryu is the use of soft and quick circular blocks that simply redirect an opponent’s attack followed by an equally quick and powerful response. Strong emphasis is placed on body conditioning and Sanchin training.

Vz Modeling Academy
Join Vz Academy where emphasis is placed on selfawareness and self-expression. The class offers an

Vz Pageant Development Class

African Dance
The Identite Dance Academy is delighted to offer workshops in Haitian Folklore and African Roots Dances. Come and immerse yourself in the rhythm of the drums. Learn basic steps from Ibo to Petro, Yanvalou, Congo and Nago. Theses dances are rich in cultural and artistic traditions rooted in African tribes that were dispersed throughout the Americas and the Caribbean. Yoga & Toning
Looking to tone the whole body? Try this yoga class which emphasizes muscle toning and lengthening. This class incorporates yoga postures & breathing and various muscle toning exercises. It is a feel good work out that will leave the body feeling strong and energized. Wear clothes that are easy to stretch in. Participant must provide own yoga mat and water is suggested. 5 person minimum for class; please call the recreation center for more information.

Creative Cooking
Does your child have a passion for cooking? Well, here’s an opportunity for them to learn the basic of it all. This is a cooking class just for kids where everything is prepared and cooked by kids for kids. Supplies are provided, but space is limited!

Group Guitar
Is your child interested in learning how to play the guitar? Learn the basics of playing the guitar in just a short time. Any level is welcome, but you must provide your own guitar.

Bump, Set, Spike
Our Volleyball clinic will introduce basic volleyball skills: forearm passing, overhead passing (setting), and serving. Participants will get a high number of repetitions to practice these skills and will be introduced to basic volleyball concepts such as serve receive. Small-sided games will be utilized to put skills into practice. Registration must be received by Aug. 15.
