Youth Open Gym (Summer Hours)
Practice your basketball skills and meet new friends, all while improving your physical fi tness! All participants must have a current waiver on file. Hours may vary depending on center activities.

Adult Open Gym (Summer Hours)
Come have fun while improving your cardiovascular health and overall physical fi tness. All participants must complete a current waiver and present a current form of identification to be admitted. Hours may vary depending on center activities.
18+; Wed.; 6-8:30 pm; $2/person

Walking Track
Take a stroll or get your evening run in on our paved walking track, located next to the recreation center. For those of you who are keeping count, five laps around thetrack equal one mile.

Kidz Cooking Corner
Are your children interested in helping in the kitchen? If so, then they should check out our cooking night for children. They will learn how to cook different types of food. We are only taking 12 participants each night so be sure to reserve your spot! Registration deadline is 7 days prior to class.

Zumba
Zumba is a popular fitness program inspired by Latin dance. Using upbeat Latin music together with
cardiovascular exercise is a class that is lots of fun and easy to learn.

ZumbAtomic
Want a fun and healthy way for your child to shed excess weight? Dance fi tness classes are a great way to experience high energy specially choreographed, kid-friendly routines and all the music kids love.

Group Guitar Instruction
Quality guitar instruction, that is for students at every level of development. Emphasis is placed on musicianship fostered by a positive learning environment.

Irish Dance Class
Join this old style step dancing class as an individual or a group to help in telling the story of Irish dancing.

Tiny Tumblers
Your child will burn off extra energy while learning in a fun environment! Basic tumbling and creative dance will be introduced in this class.

Yvette's Dance Academy
In this upbeat and exciting class participants learn basic techniques and fundamentals of dance. This class also improves coordination, fl exibility and endurance. It is great for both beginners and intermediate students.

Youth Karate
Beginner and intermediate classes incorporating fi tness, self-discipline, and fun are held in a non-violent atmosphere. The classes are in 4-week sessions. Feel free to call the recreation center to see what day of the month the class will start.

Team Tutor
Are you a current high school student in need of volunteer experience? Sign up now to partner with a child in need of tutoring. Spaces are limited; inquire about qualifi cations with a recreation center staff person.

Stoney Point Youth Advance Series
This diverse learning experience will offer several workshops targeted to enriching the foundation of life skills and instilling the importance of "future preparedness" for youth. Please contact the Recreation center to pre-register for the program

Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Baseball, Softball, Football & Cheerleading Coaches are needed at Stoney Point Recreation Center. For more information or to volunteer, stop by the recreation center during operating hours.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Triple P Night: Pizza/Project/Pajamas
Register your child for a fun fi lled triple p night. There will be pizza, a movie and a project related to the night's film. Dress Code: Pajamas!

Fundamental Sports Volleyball Clinic
Clinic will introduce basic volleyball skills such as forearm passing, overhead passing (setting), and serving. Participants will get a high number of repetitions to practice these skills and will be introduced to basic volleyball concepts such as serve receive. Small-sided games will be utilized to put skills into practice. All participants will receive a t-shirt.
9-14 yrs; Mon., April 1-Thurs., April 4; 10-11:30 am; $40/participant

Fitness Fun Day
Bring your child out for a great day of fi tness activities. It is a great way to get them interested in being active. Activities will include ZumbAtomic, kickball, fitness competition and crafts.

Baking Buddy
Have a buddy that you just love to bake with? Sign up now to learn to bake and package delicious new treats that will surely impress your family and friends. You must have a partner to register for this class.

Shades of Summer Art Program
Are you interested in drawing, painting and blending colors to create eye catching artwork? This class will introduce you to different methods to get you started.
