Effective July 10, 2020: FCPR pools and splash pads will remain closed for the duration of the 2020 season and camps will not operate this summer. These decisions were made with support from the City of Fayetteville's Emergency Management team and Cumberland County Health Department. FCPR facilities remain closed to public access. FCPR has postponed all department organized programs, activities, athletics, special events and rentals until further notice. FCPR will not take any additional shelter or room reservations until further notice. FCPR staff will contact and work with affected individuals and groups to reschedule or refund at a later date. As conditions change, the status of these postponements and closures will be re-evaluated. Parks and trails are currently open (playgrounds, outdoor basketball courts and the skate park remain closed). Use caution and practice social distancing.
Fayetteville Beautiful is a non-profit dedicated to encouraging others to take greater responsibility for improving their environment through litter abatement, waste reduction, and beautification programs. The City of Fayetteville and Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks & Recreation are supporters of these efforts.
The 2020 Fayetteville Beautiful Citywide Cleanup has been postponed due to the governor's stay-at-home order. We will inform you of the rescheduled date soon. .
